Pakistan president rejected India's request to hand over Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Hafiz Mohd. Sayeed and other terrorists in the wake of the Mumbai terror attacks, and doubted whether the arrested terrorist is a Pakistani.
India demanded 20 terrorists who are suspected to be involved in Mumbai attack to be handed over to Indian military force after New Delhi conference which held two days before."If there exists any proof against the suspected terrorists we would investigate them in our land and we would sentence them”,Pakistan president said in an interview."They(India) did not prove any witness to say that he is definitely a Pakistani. I very much doubt that he’s a Pakistani",he added."we are not responsible for the Mumbai attack as white House and CIA said that pak having connection in the mumbai attack",he strongly stated Pakistan's part in the attack."There wont be any chance of war between India and Pakistan,since democratic countries wont involve in such things",he said about the war situation."LeT is a prohibited terrorist body over the world and even if they involved in the attck we are not responsible for that",he added.
